Nära ytan, Norrtälje
Installationen ”Nära ytan” var en del av ”Konst i ån” som då fyllde 10 år. Verket var platsspecifikt och utformades med tanke på djurlivet och växtligheten i kanalen. Jag ville komma åt känslan av det myller av liv som man kan uppleva precis vid vattenytan. En grym och fascinerande värld där allt kan hända och kampen för överlevnad hela tiden pågår.
Verket bestod av akryl- och vinyl målningar på figursågad plywood som lackats för att hålla hela sommaren. Målningarna sattes upp på ställningar av trä som sedan fästes i botten på ån med hjälp av plintar.
